THE TO DO LIST
The so called routine runs among every people in the world. Now for some, it's penning the to do list in the morning with the determination to complete it by night
This morning I woke up and kept my mind fixated to the tasks that I thought last night instead of this morning.
Now penning a to do list each morning feels good at the end of the day if I get to strike out all of it and write ‘done’ on it. Except that, it isn’t of much joy. Now waking up each morning and deciding on the top priorities sure takes an amount of organized thinking. Do it right after you wash up or shower. I think it will help you to increase productivity.
Now, as per Pareto’s rule that’s going way more viral than ever this days, the 80% of your work will sure get finished within 20% of your time. I call it the “PHASE". For me, this ‘phase’ comes right at the morning. The work with top priorities for me gets executed within that time. And hopefully, it brings out the result I wanted.
And within the list of the things that I carry out so early in the morning includes majority of my work from the to do list. And I finish 80% of it. Not for the sake of the principle, but for the desired outcome of my work. I leave a crucial part left out, that of course falls in the minority section, and do it later on the day. Now in the time that I get in course of the day, I try to review my work that I completed in the morning and see if it needs any necessary adjustments. If it does, I do it and keep in mind to what actually I changed. And yeah on the later course of the day, I just complete my work and that sets me forward by a day.
