MINI HEART ATTACKS
The time you think you are gonna fall from your bike, skateboard or chair in a horrible way. The time your lie unearths itself to the person it was meant to keep away from. Horror scenes too...
Day to day life comprises of repeated habits forged by us since childhood with the occasional welcome of something new and unexperienced to which we may develop a liking later on.
As a horror nerd, most of the dramatic horror movie scenes and climax are things I wait for to enjoy. Not the scenes in Scream series though. It’s not horror as Google shows. It can be considered as a thriller, but it’s a real pity to claim it as horror. Sorry if we are not on the same page. Let’s hope for a different book where we can merge ourselves with the same pov.
Now, those who do not share the same horror film enthusiasm, gets pretty scared in those scenes. It’s time for some to grab an inhaler and catch their breathe. This are the moments that are referred as mini heart attacks. The jolt of panic that runs through them at that moment, to expect the unexpected feeling and yet get scared.
There are numerous moments like these. The time we think we will fall from our bike, or get hit straight in the face while skateboarding. Fall from our chair while leaning back, slipping on a banana peel or any other liquid. But those don’t happen, even though we embrace ourselves for the undesired outcome to come and fall straight in our near future destiny.
We thank god for the turn of show at those moment.
But we plead when we find ourselves in the expected positions. When we fall. When we get smashed in the face.
Just like we cry at times when things don’t go in our way and turns up as the least expected, but expected.
