DOCUMENTING the DOCUMENTRIES.....
Documentaries have always made me stay hooked to the screen and it's way of reflecting and capturing the moments had given me a sense of joy upon watching.......
Hi Amicas,
Everyone has got something on the menu that they put above the rest. When it comes to shows, people opt on their liking to things they take as entertainment. For me, it’s documentaries. Of course, I also like movies which I later re-watch sometimes.
But documentaries have got a strong hold of me since my prime. When I was a kid, I used to watch the tv shows on Discovery and Nat geo. As I grew up, this was one habit that didn’t alter.
Why I like documentaries…….
Now fully packed action movies, where the protagonist and his mates save the day unknown to the world and then sets off for another journey, or the badass team of nobodies of the society blending together and pulling of a heist together, has got everyone’s attention on them. Or take zombie apocalypse and superhero action franchise, those are mind blowing and full of entertainment.
As much as I wish those to be true, they aren’t and so it stays as a dream to embark upon those journeys. Though it’s funny how they stay evergreen, like ghostbusters or Mission Impossible over the decades.
Documentaries on the other hand are on my pov, are about exploring and bringing on the facts, stories, cultures fusing it together. It sounds cheesy, but it gives glimpses of —— humanity that’s striving within us.
And it quenches the thirst of the unknown and helps escape reality within reality. The history from the corners of the world and the unearthed secrets, along with stories that remained open but had no light casted upon it comes at one place.
And the variety remains insane.
From insights in organization functioning to top human interests ——— civilizations, architectures, cultures, paranormal, psychic, beliefs and faiths, myths and curses, wildlife and AI; all have some dedicated to them.
Now that’s it for me.
What are your interests?
Goodbye.
